Julian joined the wine trade in 2001 and since that date has worked in several areas of the business including wine retailing, wholesale and fine wine broking. He has also travelled extensively in the wine-producing regions of the world including France, Italy and Australia.

Julian started his wine business in Hong Kong and Singapore in 2010 and has since expanded the business to Malaysia and China and was responsible for establishing his business over there.

In 2011,Julian was inducted by Emmanuel Cruse ,World Grand Maitre of Commanderie as Commandeur D Honneur de L Ordre Du Bontemps , Medoc et Graves – Sauternes et Barsac during his visit to Bordeaux.

In 2013 ,inducted as Prud'homme de la Jurade in Saint Emilion (Ambassador for St Emilion) and in 2018 ,inducted as Chevalier de l’Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne in Hong Kong.
